Dr.Muhammed Derda Özer  is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist with a distinguished career in advanced eye surgery and ocular disease management. Born in Bolu in 1986, Dr.Muhammed Derda Özer graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 2010 and completed his ophthalmology residency at the same institution between 2011 and 2016. During his residency, he expanded his clinical experience as an observer at the Wills Eye Hospital Ocular Oncology Unit, one of the world’s leading ophthalmology centers. In the early stages of his career, he also took part in numerous international phase studies, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in ophthalmic research.

After completing his mandatory service at Hakkari State Hospital between 2016 and 2018, Dr.Muhammed Derda Özer joined Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine as a lecturer, where he played a significant role in the education and training of young ophthalmologists. His commitment to professional development led him to earn the prestigious F.I.C.O. (Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology) title in 2020 after successfully passing the advanced ICO examinations.

In 2021, Dr.Muhammed Derda Özer became an active member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, Uvea-Behçet Unit, further strengthening his position in the field. His academic achievements include more than 40 scientific articles published in respected national and international journals.

In 2024, Dr.Muhammed Derda Özer obtained the ECFMG (US Medical License) Certification, demonstrating his adherence to the highest international medical standards.
